JUNIPER GREEN HFT 24/2/13
7 members travelled to Juniper for the 1st HFT of the year. The weather wasn't the best, with snow,sleet & rain. At least there was no wind!
The Open winner scored 58 (Nick Hopkinson, Dunfermline). Ron scored 54 (top Tayside score & 5th equal), Bob scored 48 and Craig, 46, Scott, 39. Kathleen won the Ladies with 50, Mark Cook won the Recoiling with 39. Brennan won the Junior 14-16 with 53.
Not a bad effort by Tayside.
Next is the SARPA Hunter League and then the Worlds where 5 members will be competing.

For the relief of the gentlemen members a toilet (urinal only) has been installed and can be found over the bridge to the course, to the right. Please give it a flush of disinfectant now and again. This is in the bottle sitting on top of the barrel.
No more asking which is the back of the tree!!!!
The 2013 UKAHFT Rules are now available.
As we shoot to these rules, they will be taken into use immediately.

A hard copy has been placed on the noticeboard in the hut at the HFT course.

Above were the only shooters to submit 10 scores.
THE RINSING
This needle match took place on Sunday 8th January, between Steve and Bob. The result was unclear, but I think Steve prevailed.

THE SIXTY CLUB
Another member has joined the 60 club (scored 60 x 60).
On 10th June, Ron attained the magic score, joining Steve and Bob.
We'll have to get a badge made up!!!
