The Christmas shoot was a great day with the rain stopping just before shooting commenced and the sun nearly coming out!

The shoot was very challenging manly due to the fact I could not be bothered to change the targets to easier ones! Apologies I will do better next year, however everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and Stans ham and lentil soup was absolutely delicious and rib sticking!

The line of fire shoot was great fun blowing up old crockery, pots of paint, balloons, chalk, toy soldiers and some exploding targets as well (thanks to Mark for supplying them)

The Shoot today went fantastically, a big thanks to everybody who came along to shoot and enjoy the company!

It was really great to see the club hut warm and full again, with lots of banter just like the old days. 

Stan out did himself with the soup this year, it was the best thing I've eaten for a long time! thank you Stan. 

Also a big thanks To Mark Cush for setting up the course.

The Stan Hoskins Gamble Trophy

I’m pleased to say the Stan Hoskins Gamble Trophy went very well on Sunday, with an absolutely beautiful day, cool in the shade but hot in the sun! 

Thanks go to my wife Else for helping to set up and decorate the raffle and gamble sections, Else and Dominic for cooking the lovely burgers, and to Derek, Gavin, and especially Mark who selflessly gave up their time and in some cases health to assist. 

We trialled a new setup this time around, and it worked very well with Bill Gordon, Kathleen Male, Brennan Somers, and Mark Cummings taking advantage of the extra scores offered by taking a Gamble! 

Bill Gordon 1st, score 42.
Kathleen Male 2nd, score 41 

Brennan Summers and Mark Cummings tied at 39.
